На Mitsubishi Outlander XL 2.0 Di-D в полноприводных моделях 4WD стоит 2 датчика уровня топлива: один на топливном модуле (бензонасос в баке+фильтр+датчик), второй - стоит отдельно, рядом с топливным модулем.
На Mitsubishi Outlander XL 2.0 Di-D в переднеприводных моделях 2WD датчик уровня топлива один и расположен в топливном модуле.

B1201 Fuel information error


TROUBLE JUDGEMENT
With the ignition switch at the ON position and the system voltage at 10 -16 V (data from ETACS-ECU), if the combination meter detects the abnormal resistance of fuel tank gauge unit circuit for 64 seconds continuously, the diagnosis code No. B1201 is stored.
PROBABLE CAUSES
Damaged harness wires and connectors
Malfunction of fuel tank pump and gauge assembly
Malfunction of fuel tank gauge unit <4WD only>
Malfunction of combination meter

DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE
STEP 1. Connector check: D-22 fuel tank pump and gauge assembly and D-24 fuel tank gauge unit <4WD only> connector
Q. Is the check result normal?
YES - Go to Step 2.
NO - Repair the connector, and then go to Step 9.

STEP 2. Fuel tank pump and gauge assembly and fuel tank gauge unit <4WD only> check
Check the Fuel tank pump and gauge assembly and fuel tank gauge unit <4WD only>. Refer to FUEL GAUGE UNIT CHECK.
Q. Is the check result normal?
YES -Go to Step 3.
NO - Replace the Fuel tank pump and gauge assembly and fuel tank gauge unit <4WD only>.

STEP 3. Check of fuel tank pump and gauge assembly circuit
(1)Disconnect the D-22 fuel tank pump and gauge assembly connector.
(2)Use the special tool Check harness (MB991219) to connect a test lamp (12 V - 3.4 W) between the wiring harness connector terminals 1 and 2.
(3)Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
(4)Check if the test lamp illuminates.
OK: Illuminates
Q. Is the check result normal?
YES - Go to Step 8.
NO - Go to Step 4.

STEP 4. Resistance measurement at the D-22 fuel tank pump and gauge assembly connector
(1)Disconnect the fuel tank pump and gauge assembly connector, the measure at the harness side.
(2)Measure the resistance between the D-22 fuel tank pump and gauge assembly connector terminal No. 1 and the body earth.
OK: Continuity exists (2 Ω or less)
Q. Is the check result normal?
YES - Go to Step 6.
NO - Go to Step 5.

STEP 5. Check the wiring harness between the D-22 fuel tank pump and gauge assembly connector terminal No. 1 and the body earth.
Check the earth wires for open circuit.
Q. Is the check result normal?
YES - Go to Step 9.
NO - Repair the wiring harness, and then go to Step 9.

STEP 6. Connector check: C-03 combination meter connector
Q. Is the check result normal?
YES - Go to Step 7.
NO - Repair the connector, and then go to Step 9.

STEP 7. Check the wiring harness between the C-03 combination meter connector terminal No. 18 and the D-22 fuel tank pump and gauge assembly connector terminal No. 2
Check the output lines for open circuit and short circuit.
note: Before the wiring harness check, check the intermediate connectors C-35 and D-05, and repair them if necessary.
Q. Is the check result normal?
YES - Go to Step 8.
NO - Repair the wiring harness, and then go to Step 9.

STEP 8. M.U.T.-III actuator test
Item 03: Fuel tank gauge (target value): 0 →100%
OK: The fuel tank gauge operates.
Q. Is the check result normal?
YES - Go to Step 9.
NO - Replace the combination meter

STEP 9. Check whether the diagnosis code is reset.
Check again if the diagnosis code is set to the combination meter.
(1)Erase the diagnosis code.
(2)Turn the ignition switch from "LOCK" (OFF) position to "ON" position.
(3)Check if diagnosis code is set.
Q. Is the diagnosis code set?
YES - Replace the combination meter
NO - The diagnosis is complete.

Malfunction of the fuel gauge unit <4WD only>
Malfunction of combination meter


DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE
STEP 1. Check the diagnosis code.
Check if diagnosis code No. B1201 is set.
Q. Is the diagnosis code No. B1201 set?
YES - Perform the troubleshooting of when the diagnosis code is set (Refer to ).
NO - Go to Step 2.

STEP 2. Fuel tank pump and gauge assembly and fuel tank gauge unit <4WD only> check
Check the fuel tank pump and gauge assembly and fuel tank gauge unit <4WD only>. Refer to .
Q. Is the check result normal?
YES - Go to Step 3.
NO - Replace the fuel tank pump and gauge assembly and fuel tank gauge unit <4WD only>.

STEP 3. Retest the system.
Check that the fuel gauge works normally.
Q. Is the check result normal?

YES - The procedure is complete.
NO - Replace the combination meter.

ситуация такая же как и описано выше в сообщении. но датчика б.у не найти на дизель есть дут бензин 3.0 в наличии .А если баки одинаковые то и дут должны быть вроде одинаковые . Помоему так

Кто сказал что баки одинаковые?
Сравните партснамберы бензин (http://www.cp-club.ru/showthread.php?t=15303&p=251366&viewfull=1#post251366) и дизель (http://www.cp-club.ru/showthread.php?t=14232&p=143052&viewfull=1#post143052) :yaz:
На 2.2 Di-D ставили бак от 2.4 (http://www.cp-club.ru/showthread.php?t=14232&p=340225&viewfull=1#post340225), а у вас 2.0 Di-D с вольцовским движком. Вин дайте - посмотрим что там у вас
ДУТы разные (по партснамберам). Визуально может быть и одинаковые, но вот по электрической части могут отличаться. Надо проверять.

Во вложении артикулы по VIN-у.
Например, доп датчик (отдельный) по артикулу совпадает, с тем что стоит у меня на бензиновом 3.0 - 1718A051
А в топливном фильтре 1718A047 - нет. И опять же я думаю, что все дело в штанге поплавка.

Если почитать инет, народ с разборок резисторы датчика (керамическая вставка по которой бегает бегунок) менял со всей почти линейки мицу, оставляя только штатный поплавок и штангу.
